A week of public and classroom performances and interactive events to celebrate this uniquely American art form.

This lively panel discussion with video highlights features world-class tap dancers Chloe Arnold, Arthur Duncan, Paris Mann, and Chapman’s award-winning tap professor, Brandee Lara. The moderator is Chapman University’s Dr. Brynn Shiovitz, author of The Body, the Dance and the Text, and the monograph-length project Behind the Screen: Tap Dance, Race, and Invisibility During Hollywood's Golden Age.
