Everyone is welcome to attend

In collaboration with the series LA FRONTERA - THE BORDER: An Interdisciplinary Examination, co-sponsored by the Wilkinson College, Office of the Provost, and Chapman University Art Colletsions, the Leatherby Libraries invites you to participate in a book club on The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border. The author, Francisco Cantú, will give the keynote address at the series conference in November 2019. Join us as we engage in discussions about borders inspired by the book that won the 2019 Los Angeles Times Book Award.

Discussions will be led by Dr. Lisa Leitz, Delp Wilkinson Professor of Peace Studies, and Essraa Nawar, Development Librarian at the Leatherby Libraries.

Lunch will be served.

Space is limited. To register for the meeting, contact Rachel Karas at karas@chapman.edu.

You can contact the event organizer, Rachel Karas at karas@chapman.edu or (714) 532-6027.
