Top prizewinner at numerous international competitions, cellist Han Bin Yoon won the Second Prize at the 2013 Young Concert Artist International Auditions, as well as the Third Prize and special award for the Best Performance of the Chinese Composition at the 2013 International Schoenfeld Cello Competition in Hong Kong. In 2013, Han Bin was chosen by the Korean Concert Society to give his debut recital at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where the distinguished audience included such notable figures as the Korean Ambassador Ho-Young Ahn.
From 2014-2017, Han Bin was a soloist at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Belgium. He has been highlighted in performances at the Music Chapel Festival in Flagey, Festival Musical du Brabant Wallon, Korean Cultural Center Brussels, and BOZAR. Han Bin has recently performed as guest soloist with orchestras including the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie (Mons), CASCO Phil, Thornton Symphony under the baton of Maestro James Conlon, Springfield (MO), Torrance, Palisades, Brentwood and Huntsville Symphonies. The 2017–2018 season marks the beginning of Han Bin's Artist-in-Residence collaboration with the CASCO Phil, including a New Year's concerto tour of Belgium with maestro Benjamin Haemhouts.
