Chapman faculty member Gary Matsuura is joined by quartet members Mike Vaccaro on alto saxophone, Damon Zick on tenor saxophone, and Jay Mason on baritone saxophone in this special recital concert featuring an ecletic mix of repertoire from the French School to music inspired by the California Goldrush and jazz with latin and middle eastern infliuences, including works by Gabriel Pierné, Eugene Bozza, Jack Marshall, Damon Zick ,and a world premiere by John Scott.
