Join Us for a thrilling evening with the Chapman University Big Band & Jazz Combo and dynamic, bluesy, special-guest saxophonist Rickey Woodard* of The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz
Orchestra and the Frank Capp Juggernaut Band.
A former member of the Ray Charles Band, Mr. Woodard has performed and recorded with many jazz/blues/soul greats, including Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, Nancy Wilson, and Jimmy Smith, and is credited with over 200 original compositions.
