are invited to attend.

Are you responding with confidence during interviews without seeming arrogant? Have you been stumped by an interview question before? Did you know that the bulk of in-person communication has everything to do with body language? Do you feel confident in what is expected of you when communicating within your own company as well as outside of the company?

We will be exploring the many nuances of professional communication and interviews in this Certified Career Series presentation, followed by a networking opportunity with our speaker and guests.

Refreshments and light appetizers will be provided. Professional dress is recommended.

ABOUT PAT BOULARD '90 ('92)

International and dual-degree Chapman alumnus Patrick (Pat) Boulard '90 (MBA '92) is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner & Principal Consultant of Axellium, LLC. Pat has served many prominent leadership roles within the Chapman University community including as the Chairman of Chapman50 and as an adjunct faculty member at the Argyros School of Business. Additionally, Pat's family is full of Panthers, including his wife, Lori Boulard (Finance Director at Experian) and his daughter, who just joined the class of 2022!

In his role as managing partner and consultant, Pat conducts a wide variety of formal and B2B (business to business) professional conversations on a daily basis with clients, advisors and contributors. Additionally, as a consultant, Pat has to 'pitch' his own company, talent and team on a regular basis in an interview style to gain new business and projects - he may have more 'interviews' with professionals in a year - or perhaps a month- than many of us conduct in a lifetime! With these key activities in mind, Pat is the ideal person to advise Panthers on professional conversations and interviews.
