Autism AppJam is a two-week competition for undergraduate and graduate students of all majors at UC Irvine and Chapman University. The competition culminates in this very exciting event where teams present their apps to judges and the public.
During the two weeks, student teams design and create some kind of technology – be it a mobile app, website or even a kinect game – to support a real problem faced by people coping with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Then, teams will present their design to a panel of judges from area schools and industry partners at this fantastic event.
This year we expect to have over 30 team presenting from the two universities.
This even is free and open to the public. Please join us!
The schedule for the event is as follows:
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Check-in and Registration begins
5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Team Presentations, Judging and Appetizers
