Ramadan Iftar
Peace be upon you! The Chapman Muslim Student Association would like to invite you to our upcoming event, Ramadan Iftar: Fast for a Day. Ramadan is the 9th month in the Islamic calendar in which Muslims refrain from food and water from dawn until sunset. At sunset, Muslims gather to break the fast, known as "iftar," followed by night prayers called "Taraweeh." We invite you to join us for Iftar. Would you like to "step in the shoes of a Muslim?" Consider fasting like the Muslims and gather as a community. However, if you do not want to or cannot, come anyway! This year, we will have four iftars, Tuesday, March 28th at 7:10 PM, Tuesday, April 4th at 7:15 PM, Monday, April 10th at 7:20 PM, and Monday, April 17th at 7:25 PM. In addition, this year, we will have an Eid Celebration on Monday, April 24th. Hope to see you there!
