In our new “post-Roe” American reality, it’s more important than ever to get educated on basics regarding Roe v. Wade, why and how it came about, how it was overturned, the myriad issues involved, what’s at stake in the present moment and the kind of future we want.
This documentary series tracks pre-Roe through post-Roe America in 4 installments over October/November: Oct. 20th, Oct. 27th, Nov. 3rd, & Nov 10th (Thursdays) @ 4:00pm, AF 202.
Each screening event will be followed by discussion.
Free Educational Materials and Resource Guides to all attendees.

The documentary tells the story of JANE, a secret abortion service network established by women in the seventies. The network used a series of code names and safe houses to provide women in need with illegal abortions during a time when abortions were banned by the state and church. JANE successfully helped over ten thousand women gain access to affordable abortions.
