The Newman Catholic Fellowship invites you to attend the Catholic Ash Wednesday Liturgy on Wednesday in the Fish Interfaith Center. Ash Wednesday initiates the forty days of Lent celebrated by Catholics in preparation for Easter. At the Catholic Ash Wednesday Liturgy, ashes are traditionally distributed on the foreheads of the faithful as a sign of penance and a call to conversion.
