CAREER PATHS IN FILM STUDIES
Please join us for a panel of six Film Studies Alumni, all graduates of Dodge’s Film Studies M.A. program. Moderated by Professor Emily Carman, this panel invites our alumni to discuss their career trajectories since graduating from Chapman. Discussions will cover the versatile options open to Film Studies graduates in academia, film and media industries, non-profit, and education.
Izzy Williams
Izzy Williams is a PhD student at UC Irvine in Culture and Theory. Williams published her MA thesis and has produced podcasts on emotion, politics and video gaming.
Taylor Braun
Taylor Braun is a Film Festival Specialist at Dodge College.
Michael Nordine
Mike Nordine is a freelance film critic, journalist and the former weekend editor of IndieWire.
Alexa Dalle
Alexa Dalle works at leading French distribution company, Metropolitan Filmexport. Dalle is the Executive Assistant to the President, and she works closely with the Acquisitions Team.
Hannah Garibaldi
Hannah Garibaldi is a PhD candidate in Film and Media Studies at UCSB and also works as an archivist, UCSB Film Archive & UCSB Library Special Research Collections.
Nate Bell
Nate Bell is the Internship manager at the School of Cinema and Media Arts at Biola University.
