Staff and Faculty

are invited to attend.

The IETL's annual January Conference on Teaching (JanCon) will include an array of programming on teaching and learning topics held Tuesday, January 19 - Friday, January 22 via Zoom. Full-time faculty and staff can register for individual programs they are interested in attending. Please note that, unfortunately, due to new changes in state law, part-time lecturers and graduate teaching assistants cannot attend JanCon because there is no budget to pay them for attendance.

A Hypothesis representative will discuss how collaborative annotation with Hypothesis can be used to make student reading visible, active, and social. In addition to sharing pedagogical best practices for collaborative annotation, they will demonstrate how Hypothesis can be used with course readings in Canvas.
