ABOUT THE CERTIFIED CAREER SERIES

The Certified Career Series is a career development speaker series offered by Chapman University. The series covers a wide variety of professional topics including those challenges and changes happening today in the workforce, as well as those timeless expectations employers consistently reward and hold their employees accountable for. Business leaders and prominent alumni hailing from diverse industries present in an assortment of formats, from presentations to panels and workshops.

BECOMING A CERTIFIED CAREER STUDENT

Students that successfully complete Certified Career Student requirements within a single semester earn the title of “Chapman University Certified Career Student,” and are honored with:

• Certificate of completion

• Certified Career Student graduation chords regalia

• Access to exclusive networking events with top employers, including the Certified Student & Employer Mixer held at the end of every Fall and Spring semester

Certified Career Student requirements may be fulfilled in a variety of ways, however all Certified students earn their certificate by building the following core competencies:

• Networking

• Handshake career portal
