THIS SESSION IS OPEN TO ALL WITH RSVP.
This session will help participants build Linkedin profiles, write resumés and cover letters, and design a personal brand that showcases accomplishments, skills, and research and creative activity. While designed especially for graduate students (who should register for this GUS 530 workshop on my.chapman.edu), all others are welcome to join this session and should RSVP to Graduate Programs Coordinator Allison DeVries at devries@chapman.edu.
Each semester Wilkinson College offers a variety of workshops for graduate students on topics related to academic, personal, and career development. Graduate Students may register for this 0 credit P/NP class through my.chapman.edu. Course number is GUS 530. Undergraduate students who have been admitted to a 4+1 program or who have less than 18 credits remaining for graduation may register through the Undergraduate Request to Register for Graduate Course form available on the Office of the Registrar's website.

RESUMES AND COVER LETTERS - You hear the word "resume" and you know you need it to make an immediate great first impression. Learn tips for building effective resumes that successfully market you to employers and/or further education.
DESIGNING YOUR PERSONAL BRAND - Think you don’t need a personal brand? Think again! Regardless of your professional field, you need to create a unique, professional fingerprint to stand out from the crowd. Eighty percent of jobs are not posted, and there is an average of 150-200 people applying for a single job. How will you stand out?
