This panel will highlight two key initiatives within Wilkinson College: the MA Program in War and Society and the college-level speaker series “Empowering Women Through the Creative Industries.” This event will showcase the role humanities can play in encouraging creative thinking about the problems women face when dealing with the complex topics of war and peace. Joining Peace Studies faculty member Liza Leitz will be Beth Bailey from University of Kansas, Heather Stur from The University of Southern Mississippi, and Kara Dixon Vuic from Texas Christian University.
