Women's Leadership Forum: Igniting the Flame

We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity to attend the College of Educational Studies inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum sponsored by SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.
Hear from two dynamic keynote speakers about how to discover your life’s passion, keep the flame lit and empower others to do the same. A panel of women from different industries will share their personal passions and career advancement advice. People of all ages, genders and backgrounds can choose from six breakout sessions of their choice, led by current leaders in their field.
Keynote speakers include:
Dr. Myra Strober
Labor economist, author and Professor Emerita at the School of Education at Stanford University
Dr. Sumun Pendakur
Director of Institutional Diversity at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont
Panelists include Dr. Aida Molina, Director of Education for the CA Collaborative for Educational Excellence; Ayesha Mahapatra, Vice President and Associate General Council for Young’s Holdings, Inc.; Emily Chiles, Professor at North Virginia Community College; Dr. Sheryl Bourgeois, Executive Vice President of University Advancement at Chapman University and Vicki Abeles, documentarian and Director of Race to Nowhere and Beyond Measure.
The six breakout sessions topics are Careers in the Marketplace, Education K-12, Higher Education, Law/ Public Sector, Community Engagement/ Philanthropy and Entertainment.
