Daisuke Murata is a PhD candidate in East Asian Art at The University of Kansas. His areas of expertise include modern and contemporary Japanese and Korean Visual Arts and Classical Gardens of China and Japan. He has curated exhibitions on Ron Mueck, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Kyosai Kawanabe.
