Science on Tap: What Quantum Physics Tells Us About the Nature of Reality
With Professor Andrew Jordan, Co-Director of Institute for Quantum Studies
Learn what the science of the atom tells us about our world. Professor Andrew Jordan, Co-Director of the Institute for Quantum Studies, will discuss some of the bizarre phenomena of the quantum world, such as superposition, entanglement, and tunneling. He will also discuss the new and exciting developments happening in quantum physics, including quantum computing, quantum sensing, and how these discoveries and technological development are impacting our society.
SCIENCE ON TAP is a series of casual moderated discussions featuring experts who explore the intersection of science and culture. Science on Tap is for any and every science enthusiast in the community. All ages are welcome. Beer is available for purchase for those 21+. Remember: Great questions get you a free beer!
