Please join the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center for the first Neurodevelopmental Conference focusing on transitioning from adolescence to young adult life. The presentations will center around the theme “Working Together to Expand Horizons.” The keynote presentation will feature residents and staff from Glennwood House of Laguna Beach, a residential apartment community that focuses on inclusion for adults with disabilities. The presentations during the conference will feature medical and transition experts addressing challenges and successes in the areas of housing, employment, and post-secondary education. The conference will be of interest to self-advocates, families, students, educators, community members, medical professionals, psychologists, service and care providers. 

The conference will be held on Monday, March 20 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Chapman University in Beckman Hall Room 404. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with time for networking. The conference is $20 for the general public and $40 for Continuing Medical Education or Continuing Education Units.
