Captivating audiences and critics around the globe, tenor Lawrence Brownlee has emerged as a pivotal voice for activism and diversity in the performing arts. Hailed as “one of the most in-demand opera singers in the world today” (NPR), Brownlee celebrates Black composers and writers, with text drawn from the Harlem Renaissance in his newest recital program, Belonging.
