are invited to attend.

Join us at this speaker event to celebrate International Day of Peace!  This event is hosted by Civic Engagement Initiatives as part of a series of programs, Engaging the World: Leading the Conversation on the Significance of Race, coordinated by Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

We are honored to have guest speakers, Shamil Idriss and Jessica Murrey, from Search for Common Ground to highlight the intersections of peacebuilding and racial justice, followed by facilitated discussions open to all participants.

RSVP HERE! (All are welcome, but RSVP in advance if you can!)

Although we cannot feed people this year, the first 100 participants who RSVP for AND attended the event will be mailed an original PRESS lapel pin designed by Tenaeya Rankin, owner of the #BlackOwned #WomanOwned accessories shop, Purrfect Ten. Please join us for these important discussions to kickstart a year of “good trouble".
