Making Sense out of Dense: Reading Strategies for the Humanities and Social Sciences

In the workshop, we will discuss and apply reading strategies for examining dense texts within the humanities and social sciences. We will place an emphasis on dense philosophical, theoretical, and empirical work.

 

Dr. Omar Mushtaq, Lecturer, Department of Sociology

Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

Dr. Mushtaq is an instructor in the Sociology department. He has taught a range of philosophical/ theoretical courses while producing research that weds theory with empirical research.
