Ethics and Integrity in Research

This workshop will provide an overview of the core principles that govern research integrity and the responsible conduct of research. It will also outline researcher obligations and responsibilities, as well as the ethical and legal issues that surround them. The workshop will encourage discussions about strategies and resources for promoting research integrity for current and future scientists, and scholars.
Michael Briggs, Director of Research Integrity, Office of Research
Michael Briggs is Chapman’s Director of Research Integrity. He has over 28 years of experience in research and regulatory compliance both in academia and the private sector. Michael is a trained Research Integrity Officer, with experience in the administration and oversight of biomedical and behavioral research.
