Dr. Lisa Wade examined the journals of dozens of students to understand their experiences in hook-up culture.   She is the author of the book "American Hook-Up" and spoken across the country about hook-up culture.  She is also the creator of the website “Sociological Images,” a widely-read blog examining current events from a sociological perspective.
