Introduction to Mindfulness
Rel 329 | 1 Credit | Spring 2018
Tuesdays from 1-2:15 | Wilkinson Founders Chapel
This one credit course will introduce you to the theory and practice of mindfulness. Scientific research today is demonstrating we can live with less anxiety and more balance in our lives through this practice. Mindfulness is learning to be more fully present with intention. We will learn about new scientific research as well as the ancient practice of mindfulness as practiced in Buddhism and other traditions. We will practice mindfulness and learn to make being aware and mindful part of our daily lives. No experience or prerequisites required.
