Data Wrangling and Basic Statistics in R Programming
A Leatherby Libraries Workshop
Thursday, July 31, 2025
11:00 a.m. PST
The second of a three-part Intro to R programming workshop series. Learn to inspect and reshape datasets in useful formats for visualization and modeling. Use the tidyverse library to subset, merge, and export data, then apply basic statistical functions for summarizing data and testing hypotheses.
No prior programming experience is required, but attending or reviewing Workshop 1 on navigating RStudio is recommended. Set up a free online Posit Cloud account (https://posit.cloud) in advance. Participants may bring their own laptop or use a provided desktop at the workshop.
