About the Speaker
Bilal Muhsin is the Chief Operating Officer of Masimo, where he has been a key leader in advancing innovative medical technologies over his distinguished 24-year career. Since joining the company in 2000, Mr. Muhsin has played an integral role in developing and refining advanced methodologies for measuring physiological parameters and pioneering patient monitoring technologies. He has also been instrumental in creating breakthrough hospital connectivity, automation, and telehealth platforms. Under his leadership, Masimo’s technology monitors over 200 million patients annually. He holds an extensive portfolio of over 130 patents.
Since becoming COO in 2019, Mr. Muhsin has driven significant revenue growth, achieving a 9% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over five years, translating to $484 million in revenue growth on a constant currency basis. He has established and nurtured major external partnerships, leading strategic collaborations with industry-leading hospitals, OEMs, and prominent technology partners. Most recently, with his broad expertise and expansive vision, Mr. Muhsin has engaged actively with financial investors and analysts to bolster Masimo’s value and strategic trajectory.
Before assuming the role of COO, Mr. Muhsin served as Executive Vice President of Engineering, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, before which he held various leadership positions in engineering. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Diego State University.
