After completing this workshop participants will be able to:

Create an assignment for students

Choose the appropriate settings for that assignment

Track and review individual student status within Blackboard Learn.

View, download and print the Originality Report on individual papers submitted.

Access additional resources and training materials from the Turnitin website.

Provide feedback via markings and grades on submitted student work.

Provide audio feedback using the audio feedback tool.

Activities: Participants will interactively create an assignment that they may use to help teach their students about both the Turnitin tool as well as the ramifications of plagiarism.

Participants will also discuss and brainstorm the applications of a plagiarism detection tool in their classes.
