Interviewers & Employers Participating

Interviewers and interview sessions are being added daily. Check back to reserve your interview time(s) with employer representatives. Check 'employers attending' here on the Handshake page for details.

Event Basics

• Interview slots will be available every 30 minutes: 10 a.m. / 10:30 a.m. / 11 a.m. / 11:30 a.m. / 12 p.m. / 12:30 p.m. / 1 p.m. / 1:30 p.m. / 2 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. / 3 p.m. / 3:30 p.m.
• Interviews will last a minimum of 10 minutes, up to 15/20 minutes, including your feedback/debrief with the employer.
• Interviews are reserved BY YOU (students) on a first-come-first-serve basis via "1:1 sessions". Registering for this event does not guarantee you a spot- only booking a session does!
• Employers will continue adding available interview "sessions" throughout the weeks/days before the event. Check back if you're looking to meet with a specific employer that you don't see available slots for!

Steps to Participate

First, register on this event page.

Next, sign up for 1:1 session with an employer of your choosing. Session sign up is required, the way your reserve time with employers, and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis online. Check back often, as employers will be updating their availability and opening slots throughout the coming week. Directions: How to schedule 1:1 sessions 

On the day of your interview ...
✔ If you haven't used Handshake's Fair platform before, read this help article "Participating in a Virtual Fair"

✔ Check your tech! Perform a network test at least an hour before the event to work out any kinks. Remember to use Chrome or Firefox browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, and Edge will not work). If you have issues joining video sessions, review the Handshake Video Requirements & Troubleshooting (Students) article.

✔ Dress professionally to make a great impression- These are real employers and professionals that can help you!

✔ Resumes are encouraged - Have your resume on-hand (saved to a shared drive like google drive) and send a download link via the chat box in the Handshake virtual session.
