Ready to elevate your charcuterie board building game? Curious about what wines to snag at Trader Joes?  Please join the Chapman Young Alumni Society (YAS) for a night of virtual charcuterie board mastery and wine sipping!

First up, Chapman alumna Katie Leonard (‘15) will demo the tips-n’-tricks for making a stand-out meat and cheese tray. Once we assemble our boards, Sarah Jenks (‘15), will get things poppin’ with 2 wine pairings.

This event is free and open to all!

Registrants to the event will be provided with a shopping list of products from Trader Joes that Katie and Sarah will be using throughout the demonstration; we encourage you to acquire the items and build your own board with us! 

We encourage all attendees and young alums to join the Chapman Young Alumni Society for the latest on future events and other programming. Events are free, but we appreciate your generous support in the form of donations that are used to support our events.

Katie Leonard's Bio:
Hi hey hello! My name is Katie, and I am cheesed to meet you! My three passions in life are food, fitness, and, you guessed it, cheese. I am currently in the process of getting my Registered Dietetics degree, and run my own healthy bakery, KTLEO, in Los Angeles, CA, where I reside, and truly seek out any excuse to make a charcuterie board - even if it's just for my boyfriend, myself, and a delectable bottle cabernet sauvignon. I am truly so excited to guide you through the cheese-board-construction process, as there is nothing more satisfying than a beautiful charcuterie board full of all your favorite goodies that you can snack on (both during the assembly, and after with friends!).

Sarah Jenks' Bio:

Sarah Jenks graduated from Chapman University in 2015 with a BFA in Screen Acting. After a few years auditioning and working in restaurants in L.A., she discovered her new passion...Wine! Sarah quickly dove into the wine industry head first, getting her Introductory Sommelier certification and her Level 2 Wine & Spirits Education Trust in the first year and most recently became a Certified Specialist of Wine. She now works for Regal Wine Company selling wine in restaurants and retail stores throughout Hollywood. She also has her own educational wine blog and Instagram(@winedownwithsarah).
