Chapman Law Review Symposium Non-Delegation Panel
The Annual Chapman Law Review Symposium will be held virtually across three dates this year, Jan. 22, 29 and Feb. 5, and will feature discussions on the Non-Delegation and Chevron Deference doctrines.
The Non-Delegation Doctrine panel will serve as an examination of whether Congress’ delegation of its legislative powers to other entities interacts with the Separation of Powers Doctrine that undergirds the United States Constitution. Notable scholars in this area will present their respective arguments and debate whether Congress’ delegation of its legislative powers conforms or conflicts with the Constitution's basic tenants.
Panelists
- Richard Epstein, the inaugural Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law, New York University
-Jack Beermann, Professor of Law and Political Science and Harry Elwood Warren Scholar, Boston University
-Kurt Eggert, Professor of Law and Director, Alona Cortese Elder Law Center, Fowler School of Law
