Join Civic Engagement in observance of LGBTQIA+ Heritage Month! On Friday, October 23rd from 11:00 to 12:00pm, we will be watching to a video playlist that highlights the work and contributions of LQBTQIA+ chefs, authors, and community activists in the culinary world, followed by a presentation on identifying supportive internships and workplaces.

Students who identify as LGBTQIA+ and those working to be allies are encouraged to join.

We will also be giving away a copy of Julia Turschen's award-winning cookbook, Feed the Resistance: Recipes & Ideas for Getting Involved. We hope to see you there!
