Chapman CARES Clothesline Project

The Chapman CARES Clothesline Project was started in 1995 and continues to this day. This project is a visual depiction of the interpersonal and sexual violence that has become a hidden epidemic in our world. All Chapman community members are invited to take part. Shirts and markers and paints are available so survivors and advocates. CARES invites are local sexual assault community center - Wayfarers to also be a part of the project. Additional shirts made by survivors in our community are also displayed across campus. This project is powerful and so it carries a trigger warning. The Project will be on display from 9 am until 3:30 pm. Counselors will be available in the Attallah Piazza throughout the time the display is up.
