Join the Archetypes in celebrating the world premiere of “kinked.”, an original play by Amber Steigelfest and Samantha Reed! “kinked.” occurs in a world parallel to our own where individuals are tasked with finding their Mate–another person who shares their same specific kink—before they turn 25. In this world, your value is judged by whether or not you can find a perfect match in the bedroom.

But what happens when someone is greedy enough to want both love and sex? Or when they don’t feel like either element is necessary to their lives? And, perhaps worst of all, what happens when they have no idea what their kink is to begin with?

“kinked.” is a romantic comedy highlighting the crossovers (and lack thereof) between sex and love. In this show, we aim to celebrate all avenues and experiences, striving for equal representation across sexual and gender identities.

Although we feel that the messages we’re sharing should be promoted to everyone, “kinked.” may not be appropriate for children due to the use of expletives and simulated sexual situations.
