California’s Gender Recognition Act (SB 179) was signed into law on October 15, 2017, and is a new piece of legislation that impacts Chapman’s community in a variety of ways for educators, administrators and student service professionals. Come to this interactive workshop with a presenter from the Los Angeles Gender Center to learn more about how to best serve and support transgender, gender nonconforming, and nonbinary students and employees under these contemporary policies.
