Under the direction of their new conductor, Kyla McCarrel, the University Women’s Choir will present an eclectic program of settings of poems of Emily Dickinson by composers Craig Hella Johnson, Neil Ginsberg, and Susan LaBarr as well as selections from Leonard Bernstein’s "I Hate Music!" arranged for treble choir by Robert Page.
Featured in the University Choir’s portion of the program will be works of American composers including Eric Whitacre’s striking "Cloudburst" for choir and percussion.
