The Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law is pleased to present Blye Pagon Faust as the next speaker in the Chapman Dialogue Series.

 

 

Blye Pagon Faust is an Academy Award winning producer of Spotlight, the true-life drama surrounding the Boston Globe’s investigations into abuses in the Boston Archdiocese, which was awarded Best Motion Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the 2016 Academy Awards. Prior to forming the award-winning film and television production company Rocklin|Faust, Blye practiced as an attorney in the Century City office of O’Melveny & Myers, LLP and later with Santa Monica based Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan, LP. She received her J.D. from UCLA and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in English from Santa Clara University. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the State Bar of California, the Creative Future Leadership Committee, and the Advisory Committee for the Mill Valley Film Festival's Mind the Gap: Women | Film | Tech initiative, and her board memberships include The Center for Investigative Reporting, among others. A frequent corporate speaker and panelist at film festivals, conferences, events, and universities, Blye remains a committed advocate for the power of storytelling.
