Hilbert Museum Opening Reception
New Spring Exhibitions
Celebrate the opening of the Hilbert Museum's newest exhibitions with food, music and lots of great art! Free and open to the public. The Hilbert Museum is located at 167 N. Atchison Street in Orange, across from Ruby's and the train station. No parking at museum for this event -- free parking on the TOP floor of the West Campus Structure at 230 N. Cypress. New exhibitions include: "SCENIC VIEW AHEAD: The AAA Westways Cover Art Collection," showcasing the beauty of the American West; "MAGICAL VISIONS: The Enchanted Worlds of Eyvind Earle," focusing on the Disney master artist who brought Sleeping Beauty to life; "A NEW HOPE: The Star Wars Art of Robert Bailey," featuring the realistic graphite drawings of the Lucasfilm artist; "SUNLIGHT AND SHADOW: A Gift from the California Art Collection of Jim and Lynne Doti," spotlighting paintings donated to the Hilbert Museum by Chapman's president emeritus; and "CHARACTER REFERENCES: The Art of the Animation Drawing," featuring drawings by top Disney and Warner Bros artists. All exhibitions will be on display through Oct. 13, 2018.
