Of the 62 Chapman students polled about how to stop mass shootings in our communities, 79% believe the answer is to reduce the threat of mass shootings, 8% believe the answer is to equip people to defend themselves, and 12% believe the answer is to root out violence in society.

Join Civic Engagement Initiatives for a Deliberative Dialogue on Mass Shootings on March 14 at 5pm in the AF Student Union Stage Area. Come with an open mind and willingness to hear and explore multiple perspectives related to this topic. Participants with all levels of background knowledge are welcome and encouraged.
