Heather R. Perry is an Associate Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, whose research focuses on the social, cultural, and medical history of the World Wars, with special attention to Germany and Europe. She is currently working on several projects including Feeding War: Gender, Health, and Mobilization in WWI Germany
