Dr. Krebs talk will examine how warfare shaped and transformed Early American societie between the colonial era and the U.S. Civil War through mobilization, recruitment, disease, destruction, displacement, or captivity.

Dr. Krebs is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville. Originally from Germany he also serves as a reserve officer in the German Army as a Lieutenant Colonel.
