Alternate Endings, Radical Beginnings
A Cross-Cultural Center and Civic Engagement Initiatives Collaboration
“In 2016 African Americans represented 44% of all new HIV diagnoses in the United States.” Often these stories are excluded from the popular narrative, so, in the spirit of Black History Month, we encourage you to join us on February 21 for a screening of the powerful film Alternate Endings, Radical Beginnings that exposes the impact of HIV/AIDS in Black communities. This film aims to “highlight the voices of those that are marginalized within broader Black communities nationwide, including queer and trans people.” The screening will take place in the Cross Cultural Center at 7 p.m. If you have any questions, please email Brandon at civic@chapman.edu! We hope to see you there!
