Playbook for Life: NCAA Athlete Career Preparation Program

Did you know... Chapman is the only DIII School that offers a career preparation course specifically for its NCAA athletes? Learn how to turn your sports experience into a career. Identify those transferable skills that will empower you for a life beyond the classroom and the field.
Students that successfully complete the program requirements receive a certificate of completion and invitations to exclusive networking opportunities, including Chapman's Certified Student/Employer Mixer at the end of each Semester.
Program Description: Student athletes will learn how to transfer their skills from the court or field to the workplace. Guest instructors include former collegiate athletes and Chapman alumni.
Dates (4 sessions plus various outside assignments for certificate eligibility):
• Mondays February 26, March 12, April 9, April 23 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
• Mock Interviews on Wednesday, April 4, 5:30 - 7 p.m.
• Chapman's Fall Certified Student/Employer Mixer on Wednesday, April 25, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• Optional networking events include Salary Negotiation and Leadership presentations on Wednesdays April 11 and 18 evenings
