In 2010, the Mexican American / Raza Studies (MARS) program was banned. Now, a court decision has overturned the law banning the program, rendering it unconstitutional.
Learn about the MARS trial and its implications for Chicanx/Mexican, and other communities. What is the context that lead to the ban? What will the recent court ruling mean for Mexican American / Raza Studies programs in Arizona? And what can we do to support the movement for ethnic studies
programs here in Orange County?

Special Guest- Sean Arce, Former MARS Director and Ethnic Studies Educator

Free, but RSVP requested
