Based in San Francisco, the award-winning Del Sol String Quartet is a leading force in 21st century chamber music specializing in sharing the music of living composers.
This concert program journeys through the diverse languages of influential American composers – Terry Riley’s looping grooves grown from Indian raga music; Ruth Crawford Seeger radically experimental processes; Ben Johnston’s just intonation Americana; and Gabriela Lena Frank’s exploration of Peruvian traditions.
Tickets: $10 general admission; $5 senior citizens, alumni and non-Chapman students.
