A lovesick lad, a beautiful girl, an ambitious soldier and a mischievous charlatan navigate misguided affections and “magic” potions in Donizetti’s “The Elixir of Love.”  This romantic tale of a simple peasant who falls in love with the most beautiful girl in town is sure to intoxicate and entice audiences.
