Thanks to Mark and Janet Hilbert’s generous donation of funds and their nonpareil collection of works by the most celebrated “California Scene” painters of the past century, Chapman University will open The Hilbert Museum of California Art this fall. Come to the Leatherby Libraries to see the first public preview of works from the Hilbert Museum—and learn more about this engaging, dynamic style of art that chronicles the history and people of the Golden State.
